This workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 16th from 6:30pm-8pm in the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life lounge (2nd Floor of 167 High Street).
Through interactive activities and discussions, this workshop aims to define trauma informed activism and advocacy, while discussing dynamics of power-based, interpersonal violence in connection to a “survivor-centered” lens of advocacy. Attendees will practice applying a “survivor-centered” lens in brainstorming ideas for activist demonstrations, while also exploring trauma-informed tools of activism for interpersonal violence prevention movements and demonstrations.
