Hi Everyone,
As a follow-up to the Title IX Comment Writing Event on Thursday, December 6th, I’m writing to share some of the related resources. If you weren’t able to attend, or did attend and would like a reminder about information and resources about the proposed Title IX Regulations, the Notice and Comment Process, and/or how to submit during the open comment period, here is a list to get you started:
• A 2-page toolkit outlining how to write a comment
• A Data Guide, to supplement your comment by referencing research and data
• “9 Things to Know about DeVos’ Proposed Title IX Rule”
• Finally, this link to the Know Your IX Resource Guide on submitting a comment overall
As a reminder, all comments submitted are public information. This means, if you choose to identify yourself and share parts of your experience as a survivor, that will be publicly available on the Regulations.gov website. In addition, the Open Comment Period closes on January 28th, 2019. If you plan to submit a comment, do so before then!
Best of luck and stay tuned for continued conversations next semester regarding the impacts of these regulations, after the open comment period has closed.
Take care,
Johanna
